Working for this leading International firm in a varied role including monitoring, investigations & general advisory work, duties will include;
 
• Assist Compliance management in identifying the impact of forthcoming changes in legislation and regulation on the Monitoring Plan and specific monitoring reviews
• Direct supervision of local Monitoring Team report, reviewing workload, assigning tasks and checking quality
• Conduct monitoring fieldwork whilst maintaining adequate documentation of work performed, cross referencing to procedures and regulatory requirements;
• Produce monitoring reports for discussion with management setting out any potential issues and agreeing management action;
• Escalate any potential rule breaches to the Head of Compliance Monitoring
• Undertake investigations into rule breaches and other issues as required by senior management;
• Preparing impact analyses of Regulatory/Exchange consultation documents for discussion with Compliance colleagues when required;
• Participating in projects in which the Compliance Department is required to be involved and delivering the Compliance input to company-wide projects

You should have good compliance monitoring experience with a good knowledge of FSA rules (and willing to learn relevant exchange regulations) and some previous staff management experience.
