Our Client, a leading publishing group seeks a Compliance Officer for an unusual & broad non Financial Services role with the following duties:

• Review Corporate Governance requirements and specific compliance areas (whether Industry or Group)
• Ensure properly codified as effective policies
• Wherever needed, design detailed procedures around such
• Assist in ensuring all staff fully aware of above and specific training provided where needed
• Carry out regular auditing of such, drafting reports and suggesting enhancements and/or remedial actions if needed

You should have experience of ensuring compliance with policies and/or regulations (non-accounting) gained from a Compliance or central Corporate Governance function from any sector (whether Financial Services or otherwise) and likely to have either an audit/monitoring or legal focus
